CS&B

In 1942 William Macristy formed Connecticut Stamping and Bending (CS&B) in New Britain, Connecticut. CS&B from its inception was aiding in the war effort by creating tubular parts for companies such as Pratt & Whitney, Ford Motor Company, and General Electric.

When the war ended, CS&B turned its production focus to the creation of tubular plumbing supplies. However, in 1949 when the Korean War began, Pratt & Whitney once again asked CS&B if they could produce parts specifically for them. In order to keep both Pratt & Whitney and this new war effort alive, as well as keeping CS&B's customer base in-stock, Tube Bends was formed to strictly make parts for Pratt & Whitney and other government agencies.

In 1960, CS&B branched out its tubular plumbing line, from wholesalers and repackagers to retailers and end users, by creating Plumb E-Z. Plumb E-Z had a product line specifically for this type of consumer and has remained successful to this day.

Macristy Industries was formed in 1972 as a parent company for CS&B, Tube Bends, and Plumb E-Z.
